The City Clerk is appointed by the City Council and prepares the Council meeting packet as well as keeping the official record of Council proceedings. The City Clerk maintains the City’s official records, and receives legal documents on behalf of the City.

Over 15 different licenses and permits are issued by the City Clerk’s Office. These include a wide variety from dog and cat licenses, to liquor and cigarette licenses, as well as peddlers permits, and going-out-of-business permits.

Parking tickets can be paid at the City Clerk's Office, Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, (cash, check VISA and MasterCard are accepted) or you can pay your parking ticket online.
