We attempt to foster justice and equality for all people who live or visit Des Moines by creating an atmosphere of opportunity regardless of:
Age, race, color, creed, religion, gender, sexual orientation, ancestry, national origin, physical and mental disability or family status
Responsibility
We collaborate with Federal, State, and local organizations to:
· Increase awareness and enforce the laws regarding discrimination
· Initiate, receive, hear and investigate complaints of discrimination
· Provide human rights education/training to business and community groups
