Des Moines Parks and Recreation offers ADULT FALL SOFTBALL leagues for men's, women's and coed slow-pitch teams that register from the middle of July through the middle of August each year. Each league plays one night during the week or on Sundays starting in late August; teams may enter more than one league if they wish to play more than one night during the week. All fall leagues play 7-game schedules with starting game times on weeknights ranging from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; starting game times range from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for Sunday early leagues and 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for Sunday late leagues.
Entry fee is $190.00 per team for a 7-game schedule with umpires and championship awards included. NEW teams that have not played in summer leagues that included IASA registration, will need to pay an additional $27.00 IASA registration fee. Make checks payable to Des Moines Parks and Recreation. Print and complete the application from the appropriate link below and submit it along with the entry fee to Parks and Recreation Administrative Offices, 3226 University Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50311, to be received by the entry deadline.
