Des Moines Parks and Recreation Department offers separate men's and women's ADULT FLAG FOOTBALL leagues every fall; both competitive and recreational.  Leagues are offered once a week play on weeknights, Monday through Thursday, or on Sundays.  Weeknight game times begin at 6:00 p.m.; Sunday game times begin at 11:00 a.m. for the early league and 3:00 p.m. for the late league.  All games are played at Ashfield (E 18th & Lyon) with seven players on the field at a time.  Teams must provide their own flags.

 

Entry fee is $200.00 per team for a 7-game schedule.  A State Tournament is offered at the end of October.  Make checks payable to Des Moines Parks and Recreation. Print and complete the application from the appropriate link below and submit it along with the entry fee to Parks and Recreation Administrative Offices, 3226 University Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50311, to be received by the entry deadline.
