COED AND MEN'S SLOWPITCH
So, your team can't wait to get back out on the softball field after a long winter? Sign up your coed or men's team in our "Quick Hitter" adult slowpitch softball leagues and they'll be the early birds that get the hits!!! Teams register the month of March and play a 4-game schedule once a week beginning in mid-April. All games are played at the Greater Des Moines Softball Complex, 4980 NE 46th Street, on weeknights beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Entry fee is $100.00 per team, plus $27.00 ASA fee which is good for summer and fall leagues. Make checks payable to Des Moines Parks and Recreation. Print and complete the application from the appropriate link below and submit it along with the entry fee to Parks and Recreation Administrative Offices, 3226 University Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50311, to be received by the entry deadline.

COED, WOMEN'S AND MEN'S SLOWPITCH - MEN'S FASTPITCH
Des Moines Parks and Recreation is offering softball leagues for men's fast-pitch, men's or women's slow-pitch and coed slow-pitch teams. A 12" ball is used in all leagues except the women's and coed slow-pitch leagues which may use an 11" ball. Leagues range from recreational level to very competitive. Most games are played at the Greater Des Moines Softball Complex, 4980 NE 46th Street (North of Broadway) and Savage Softball Complex, 2601 Hubbell Avenue, with other City fields used occasionally. Once a week play is offered every weekday and Sunday for both coed and men's slow-pitch teams playing 14-game schedules. 7-game schedules are offered to both coed and men's slow-pitch teams for once a week play Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday. A women's slow-pitch league is offered a 14-game doubleheader schedule either on Tuesday or Wednesday. Starting game times on weeknights range from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Sunday afternoon game times range from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday evening game times range from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Leagues are filled on a first-come, first-served basis; early register is encouraged as some leagues fill up fast!
Team entry fees are as follows and include a national registration fee, umpires and championship awards:
Slow-pitch 14-game schedule $ 370.00
Slow-pitch 7-game schedule $ 185.00
Fast-pitch 14-game schedule $ 450.00
