Yoga in the Park is back for another great summer program. Every Saturday June 2 through September 29, you will have the opportunity for free outdoor yoga classes at Gray’s Lake from 9 – 10 a.m. on the southeast lawn. Classes are perfect for all skill levels, and taught by volunteer instructors. Check out our website to see when your favorite instructor will be teaching. Follow us on Facebook for more information on a new program in July that we will be offering, called the Summer Sampler. We are very pleased to once again to partner with the Friends of Des Moines Parks to make this program happen.

Paddling with family and friends under the moon light is an experience you don’t want to miss! This summer there will be evening moon floats at Gray’s Lake. Participants in lighted boats will float on Gray’s Lake while enjoying the view of the pedestrian bridge and listening to the sounds of the night.

All non-gas powered boats are welcome. For those without a boat, the Gray's Lake Park concession stand offers rentals of canoes, hydro bikes and paddle boats at a rate of $6 per half hour. All boats must use lights and flashlights, which are provided free of charge.
