Des Moines Parks and Recreation, Bike World, Captain Roy's, Confluence Brewing, Fleet Feet Sports, Iowa Cubs, Iowa Taproom and Saints Pub and Patio Beaverdale present the Mayor's Annual Ride and Run for Trails. This year the proceeds from the event will go towards area trail improvement.

Mayor's Annual Ride and Run 2018
On April 21st, join the Des Moines Park and Recreation Department for the 2018 Mayor’s Annual Ride and Run for Trails (MARR). Bike World, Captain Roy's, Confluence Brewing, Fleet Feet Sports, Iowa Cubs, Iowa Taproom and Saints Pub and Patio Beaverdale will co-sponsor the event and Mayor Frank Cownie will lead the ride assisted by The DM Register’s Dream Team. In addition to the ride, the Park and Recreation Department will once again offer a 5k run/walk to the day’s events. Proceeds for both events will go towards area trail improvement.
This year’s MARR festivities will include a pre-ride breakfast from 8:00am - 10:00am at the Richard A. Clark Municipal Services Center (starting line) and a drawing for a bike, valued at $600 and donated by Bike World.This year’s ride will consist of one 24-mile route.
HELMETS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL RIDERS!
Children must be accompanied by an adult!

Registration Information
REGISTRATION FEES FOR RIDE OR RUN/WALK:
Over 18 years - $30 per adult before April 21 and $40 per Adult on the day of the event. Registration includes: refreshments, sag support, entry into the drawing, and a repair van.
Ages 5-18 - $5
Children less than 5 years old - FREE
REGISTRATION FOR RIDE/RUN COMBO - Additional $5

Registration completed before April 1 is guaranteed to include a t-shirt, refreshments at the rest stop, pre-ride breakfast from 8:00am - 10:00am at the Richard A. Clark Municipal Services Center (starting line), sag support, and the repair van.
Packet Pick up: Packets will be available the week of April 16-19 at 1551 E. Martin Luther King Jr. PKWY from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
On-Site Registration: Saturday, April 21 from 7:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at 1551 E. Martin Luther King Jr. PKWY.
