The Des Moines Parks & Recreation Department will be offering free tennis lessons through the USTA (United States Tennis Association) NJTL (National Junior Tennis League) program for children ages 9 to 14.  The traveling instructional lessons require no pre-registration, simply show up five minutes before the lessons begin and your child may attend.  Emphasis is on tennis as an introductory sport. 

Children should wear tennis or gym shoes wile participating on the tennis court.
