Des Moines Parks and Recreation is asking residents to volunteer their time to be part of the National Bicycle and Pedestrian Documentation Project. Participants will be responsible for counting trail users and handing out survey cards on May 7 and 8, from 4:15 pm to 7:30 pm and on May 11, from 11:15 am to 2:30 pm. Anyone who helps out will be rewarded! Volunteers will have their choice of either a $10 gift card to Zombie Burger for each time they volunteer or receiving a free 2014 Des Moines Mayor's Annual Ride registration (value $20) for volunteering twice!
