Des Moines Parks and Recreation is holding a public input meeting to continue the planning process for future improvements of the Riverview Park area. After a well-attended initial public meeting, a concept has been generated and will be presented for public review and comment. The concept includes a music stage for small concerts, a park shelter, walking paths, small playground element, a history/donor area and improved landscape buffers along the lagoon. Once feedback is received, a final plan will be generated for the funding phase of the project.
For more information on the planning process, please contact Lee Wheelock, Park Planner 515-248-6353; email@example.com
