• What:

  Adult Basic Sailing, Adult Weekend Class, Ladies Class, Youth/ Teen Sailing Classes are available for various age groups and age appropriate activities all designed to teach sailing skills and terminology. These 15 hour class will cover topics ranging from rigging a boat, knot tying, stopping and starting a boat, leaving and returning to the beach or dock, tacking and jibing, capsize and overboard recovery . A US Sailing Certificate of Completion will be awarded at the end of this class which enables a student to rent a small boat and feel confident to sail on their own.

• What:

  Whether you have never been in a canoe or haven’t paddled in a long time, there has never been a better chance to enjoy safe fun in the water. The 30 minute floats will start at Prospect Park and end at Birdland Marina. All ages and experience levels are welcome. Participants 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Life jackets will be provided. Floats will be held rain or shine. Dates are July 15 and August 19, Noon to 4pm.

• What:

  Go swimming with your furry friends today! This is an opportunity for dogs and their owners to celebrate the last day of the pool season. Dogs are allowed to play, splash and swim in the pools from 3:30-6:30pm. Dogs must be accompanied by their owners at all times.
  Fee $4/dog - regular admission fees apply for dog owners and family members.
