sub-committees of the Enterprise
Communilty Steering Committee
(ECSC), known as Environment
work groups, generate project
ideas to carry out the objectives
outlined in the Des Moines
EC strategic plan. The four
work groups: Community and
Neighborhood Environment,
Economic Environment, Human
Environment and Physical
Environment, each work to
generate project ideas specific
to their work group that
will enable their group
to uphold its responsibilities
for fulfilling the overall
goals of the Des Moines
EC strategic plan approved
by Housing and Urban Development
at the federal level. Each
work group not only workS
on project ideas, but also
on leveraging funding to
support their ideas.
