Regulation and Ordinance Committee

The Regulation and Ordinance Committee (R&O) is a subcommittee of the Plan and Zoning Commission. Members of the subcommittee are appointed by the Chair of the Plan and Zoning Commission.

The R&O Committee is charged with the detailed review of the Draft Zoning Ordinance.

The R&O Committee’s comments and revisions regarding the 10/06/03 Working Draft of the Zoning Ordinance are forwarded to the Zoning Ordinance Update Steering Committee.

The R&O Committee generally holds worksessions on Wednesday mornings from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM in the P&Z Conference Room of the Armory Building, 602 Robert D. Ray Drive (formerly E. First Street).

R&O worksessions are open to the public but participation in the worksessions is limited to staff and committee members due to limited meeting room space and worksession time constraints. However, written comments are welcome and there is a public comment period at all Steering Committee meetings. Public comments may be submitted via this website, mail and at public hearings.
