Mike Matthes,  Assistant City Manager

Mike began work in the City Manager’s Office in 1996 after obtaining a B.A. in History from Graceland College and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Iowa State University. As the Assistant City Manager, Mike is responsible for a variety of special assignments with all City departments. In addition, Mike assumes all of the duties of the City Manager when the City Manager and Deputy City Manager are out of town.
