Beryl has worked for the City of Des Moines since 1991 in various capacities. Since joining the Human Resources Department in 1996, Beryl has been involved in recruiting, customer support, policy administration and payroll. Currently as the Payroll and Benefits Analyst, Beryl coordinates the City’s employee benefits program and ensures the payroll processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Beryl is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through the Human Resources Certification Institute-Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and is also certified as a Certified Public Manager (CPM) accredited by the National Certified Public Manager’s Consortium.
