The First Tee Greater Des Moines offers
instruction by local high school golf
coaches and trained staff. Lessons include
rules of the game, etiquette and advance
skill development following written and oral
testing at the beginning of the program.
Additional First Tee Life Skills Curriculum
will be incorporated within this program.

Play and practice is in group lessons at any
of Des Moines’ three municipal courses
Mondays through Thursdays. Participants will
attend either 6:30 or 7:30 a.m. classes.
Additional instruction is available at Blank
Golf Course driving range for the season on
Tuesdays with local PGA professionals
providing small group instruction.
