Youth Golf
The First Tee Greater Des Moines offers instruction by local high school golf coaches and trained staff. Lessons include rules of the game, etiquette and advance skill development following written and oral testing at the beginning of the program. Additional First Tee Life Skills Curriculum will be incorporated within this program.
2009 Summer Program
Registration - at each course.
Fee: $40
Times/Dates: 8:00 - 10:00 AM June 8th & 9th (Monday & Tuesday)
Driving Range - Four days (June 10, 11, 15, 16) at the Des Moines Driving Range (2944 NW 66th Ave. Saylor Township. Each group will have 90 minutes of instruction before returning to their home course. Transportation will be provided by DMPS bus.

8:00 AM Grandview & Blank
Every Tuesday starting June 23 at Blank Golf Course. Participants will be bussed at the following times.
Blank - 9:00 AM
Grandview – 9:45 AM
Waveland – 10:15 AM
Open instruction 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Instruction and Golf - June 17 through July 30 at each course.
6:30 AM UNTIL 10:00 AM. Monday-Thursday
Ben Scharnber Memorial Outing - July 9th at Grandview.
