LABORATORY SERVICES

The Des Moines Metro WRF Laboratory operates 365 days a year to monitor on water quality for the Wastewater Reclamation Facility. Our laboratory is certified by the Iowa Sate Hygienic Laboratory in 14 separate fields of testing. High-quality analytical data are produced for wastewater, receiving water, soil, and biosolids. The Laboratory performs daily monitoring to assure the quality of its data. The Iowa State Hygienic Laboratory reviews and certifies every aspect of the Laboratory's operation every two years. The lab analyzes and submits results to state and federal regulators annually. The Laboratory has expertise in: Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Biology.
