Neighborhood Based Service Delivery (NBSD) Meetings

NBSD New Territories: Process - Goals - Priorities

Thanks to all who participated in the Neighborhood Based Service Delivery (NBSD) meetings these past few months. Your input is invaluable and is key to the success of the program in your neighborhood.

Below are summaries of each meeting held to date. The summaries include issues identified during group discussion and written on the "yellow" sheets.

The Next Step
The next step is for the neighborhood to prioritize the issues and problems identified at our first meeting. The prioritization will increase the ability of the NBSD team to focus their efforts on solving problems and addressing issues important to the neighborhood. We anticipate that a prioritization exercise, facilitated by City staff, could be carried out as an agenda item at an upcoming, regularly scheduled meeting of your neighborhood. The facilitation exercise should take an hour or less.

Set the Date
A Neighborhood Planner will be contacting the president of your neighborhood association to set a date for your priority setting exercise. We ask you to either attend the neighborhood meeting or let the leaders or your neighborhood association know your priorities.
