The functions of the Risk Management Division are: (1) to systematically and continuously identify loss exposures and analyze these exposures in terms of frequency and severity probabilities and (2) apply sound risk control procedures and financing of risk consistent with the City's financial resources.
How to file a claim
If you feel the City, or a City employee acting within the course and scope of his or her employment, has damaged your property or injured you, we encourage you to file a claim. For further information view the Legal Department.
