The Des Moines Fire Department currently has 10 stations located throughout the city to serve the citizens of Des Moines.
Station Five is located at 711 42nd Street. Station Five serves the central and west central areas of the city. Station Five is the location for one of the two District Chief offices (District Chief #1).
