 City of Des Moines Swimming Lesson Program
The 2008 swim season runs May 31 through August 17. We will be closed June 2 and 3 as these are the last days of school for elementary students. After August 17, Birdland Pool will remain open when the Des Moines Public Schools are not in session, through September 1.

Private Party Rentals:
The fee for private
reservations is $110 per
hour and includes admission
for 50 people. After 50
people, add $1.00 per
person. You can reserve your
party after April 1 and
prior to the opening date of
the swim season by calling
237-1386 (press 1). After
the pools open for the
season, contact the pool
manager at the facility to
reserve your private party.
