Zoning Board of Adjustment

• Description

  The Board hears appeals of staff determinations of the applicability of the zoning ordinance, grants variances, special exceptions, conditional uses and special permits. The board exercises adjudicatory power and appeals from the board are heard by the state court.

• General Requirements

  GENDER BALANCE REQUIRED - Seven members: a majority of the members shall be persons representing the public at large, and shall not be involved in the business of purchasing or selling real estate (not more than 3 members).
