ITEM ____ OFFICE OF THE CITY MANAGER DES MOINES, IOWA SYNOPSIS – To approve Fifth Addendum to Lease Agreement between the City and YMCA of Greater Des Moines, John R. Grubb YMCA. FISCAL IMPACT – N/A RECOMMENDATION – Approval of Fifth Addendum to Lease Agreement with the YMCA. BACKGROUND – The YMCA is desirous of creating a new YMCA Branch for the John R. Grubb YMCA, similar to its existing five branches. The process includes establishing a seven-member board. Two members shall be designated by the Park and Recreation Board. Two members shall be designated by the Park and Recreation Director. Other members shall be appointed in accordance with the Bylaws of the Metro YMCA Board of Directors and/or such Bylaws adopted by the Branch Board of Managers.
