ITEM ____ OFFICE OF THE CITY MANAGER CITY OF DES MOINES, IOWA SYNOPSIS - Approval of the final plat of Park Place Estates Plat 1, which is located in the vicinity south of East Park Avenue between Southeast 24th Court and Southeast 25th Street. The area is zoned R1-60 conditional. The principals of the corporations that own the development are John Klein, Oaks Development Company, and Mike Barnes, Barnes Realty, LC. This plat is the first plat of the Park Place Estates development. FISCAL IMPACT - None RECOMMENDATION - Approval. BACKGROUND - This plat is a continuation of residential development in this area of the City. There are approximately 30 acres in this plat.
