ITEM ____ OFFICE OF THE CITY MANAGER CITY OF DES MOINES, IOWA SYNOPSIS - Approval of lease of additional office space for the Des Moines Municipal Housing Agency with HPM Investments, Inc. (James M. Gocke, President, 2401 S.E. Tones Drive, Suite 9, Ankeny, Iowa). FISCAL IMPACT - $20,074.32 annual lease cost. RECOMMENDATION - Approval. BACKGROUND - The Des Moines Municipal Housing Agency entered a lease for office space at Park Fair Mall in February of 2001 for 6,528 square feet. It is now apparent that additional space (2,038 square feet) is needed to effectively conduct the business of the Des Moines Municipal Housing Agency. The additional space will initially be used for the following purposes: · Applicant interviews · Client interviews · Staff conference room use · File management · Supply storage
