AGENDA HEADING:

Approving the 2007 Letter of Agreement for the Holiday Food Project with the Catholic Pastoral Center.

SYNOPSIS:

Recommend approval of the Letter of Agreement and Hold Harmless Agreement for the Holiday Food Project with the Catholic Pastoral Center. City staff and volunteers will provide labor to pack 1000 baskets of donated non-perishable food items for low income households in December 2007.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Amount: The City contributes $15,000 to this program through Community Services Block Grants. Additional funding is raised through private donations.

Funding Source: Fiscal Year 2007-08 Operating Budget, Community Service Block Grants – SP027 CDD049900, page 106.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The Community Development Department Community Services Division administers the Holiday Food Project each year in conjunction with the Park and Recreation Department.
