AGENDA
HEADING:
Sidewalk Bond Release
for Southern Woods Plat #1.
SYNOPSIS:
Recommend
authorization to release the required surety for the construction of sidewalk
in Park Southern Woods Plat #1, in the amount of $21,929, since all of the
required improvements have been completed and reviewed by the Engineering
Department. The developer of the plat is The Iowa Realty Company, Inc – AmerUs
Land Development, Gerrard Neugent, President, 3501 Westown Parkway, West Des
Moines, IA, 50266.The sidewalk bond from Merchants Bonding Company (bond no.
IAC 5432), for $21,929, was approved by City Council as part of the overall
approval of this final plat.
The
subdivision plat, entitled Southern Woods Plat #1, is located in the vicinity
east of
FISCAL

ADDITIONAL
INFORMATION:
The applicant has
requested that the remaining bond amount be released as all the required
improvements have been completed and staff has verified that the improvements
have been satisfactorily completed.
