INFORMATION:
When the Des Moines City Council, by
Ordinance No. 12,040, established the Des Moines International Airport Board,
one of the responsibilities given to the Board was to "Prepare and deliver
to the City Council an annual report covering program activities and financial
status"
On September 7, 1994, by Resolution No.
A94-234, the Airport Board directed that an Annual Report be prepared in
simple, easy to read format. This report is a result of that direction. Each year since that time, the Aviation
Department has prepared a formal summary of its significant accomplishments,
public improvements, construction projects, and major events occurring at the
Airport over the previous fiscal year. Selected
financial and operating information has been summarized and reviewed with this
report as well.
