We recently opened our waiting list in late summer of 2007 and currently have over 2,900 on the waiting list.  Currently, over $1,000,000 per month in Housing Assistance Payments is paid to landlords in the community.

The Public Housing program will continue to reduce its public housing inventory.  This will be done by the sale of property through our 5h Homeownership Program and the approved disposition of 394 scattered-site housing units.  Investments in our 5 manors (390 units) will continue throughout the fiscal year.
