AGENDA HEADING:

 

Sidewalk Bond Release for Easter Lake Estates Plat 4.

 

 

SYNOPSIS:

 

Release of the required surety for the construction of sidewalk in Easter Lake Estates Plat 4, in the amount of $25,973, since all of the required improvements have been completed and reviewed by the Engineering Department.

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT: NONE

 

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

 

The developer of the plat is the Legacy Group, John Kline, Principal, 2171 Grand Avenue, West Des Moines, IA, 50365.  The sidewalk bond from Merchants Bonding Company (bond no. IAC 25164) for $24,973 was approved by City Council as part of the overall approval of this final plat.  The subdivision plat entitled Easter Lake Estates Plat 4, is located in the vicinity of SE 30th Street south of Easter Lake Drive.

 

The applicant now requests that the remaining bond amount be released as all of the required improvements have been completed and City staff has verified that the improvements have been satisfactorily completed.
