Recommend
approval of the Professional Services Supplemental Agreement No. 1 with Calhoun-Burns
& Associates, Inc., Michael A. VanderWert, President, 1801 Fuller Road,
P.O. Box 65859, West Des Moines, Iowa 50265, not to exceed $46,180.20, for construction phase services for the Fleur Drive Planters between George Flagg
Parkway and the north entrance to Gray’s Lake Park.

Calhoun-Burns was selected to put together the project plans and
specifications based on their past working experience with the City of
The plans were finalized and IDOT received bids on June 17, 2008. The hearing on the project and award of the
construction contract is on City Council’s agenda for July 14, 2008.
Staff
has negotiated a Professional Services Supplemental Agreement with Calhoun-Burns
& Associates, Inc., not to exceed $46,180.20 to provide construction
phase services for the Fleur Drive Planters.
