AGENDA
HEADING:
Authorizing
a State of Iowa, Department of Transportation (DOT) contract purchase of
traffic paint from Ennis Paint at a total cost of $28,998.20 plus freight.
SYNOPSIS:
Traffic paint
has been competitively bid and is available from Ennis Paint, P.O. Box 404,
Ennis, TX 75119, per State of Iowa Department of Transportation Contract #4857.

ADDITIONAL
INFORMATION:
The
Traffic and Transportation Division of the Engineering Department requested the
Finance Department, Procurement Division, to purchase traffic paint. Traffic
paint has been competitively bid and is available from Ennis Paint, P. O. Box
404, Ennis, TX 75119, per State of Iowa Department of Transportation Contract
4857. Municipal
Code Section 2-726(c) provides for the purchase of goods or services from
contracts established by the State of Iowa Department of General Services or
Department of Transportation, pursuant to procedures established by Chapter 18
Code of Iowa rules and regulations promulgated there under, without conforming
to the competitive bidding requirements of the Purchasing Division.
