SYNOPSIS:
Recommend
approval of the Professional Services Agreement with Stanley Consultants, Inc.,
for a lump sum agreement not to exceed $42,000, to provide professional services for the Principal Riverwalk Parcel Area Survey.

ADDITIONAL
INFORMATION:
The
Corps of Engineers requires property survey plats, legal descriptions and
monuments to be set for the flood control properties within the Principal
Riverwalk project. Stanley Consultants,
Inc. has previously provided property area information needed for Corps of
Engineer crediting. This work is
required to comply with the Corps of Engineer requirements and to receive
credit for the value of City property incorporated into the Principal
Riverwalk. Based on appraisals of the
property needed for Riverwalk construction, the project will be credited $1.6
million.
Stanley
Consultants, Inc. was hired by the Corps of Engineers to design the Principal
Riverwalk. Principal Financial later
hired Stanley Consultants, Inc. to complete the design documents. This agreement includes preparing survey
plats, legal descriptions and set monuments as required by the Corps of
Engineers. Staff has negotiated a
Professional Services Agreement with Stanley
Consultants, Inc., for a lump sum amount of $42,000, to provide professional
survey services.
