HEADING:
Approval
of Amendment #3 to the FY2006 Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention Program
(LETPP) Grant.
SYNOPSIS:
Recommend
approval of Amendment No. 3 to the original grant agreement which changes the
performance period of the FY2006-LEIN5-05 Grant. The approved performance period was from
August 31, 2006 through March 31, 2009 and now has a new end date of May 31,
2009. There are no other changes to the
grant other than the performance period end date.

March 31, 2009, there is $45,387.92 unexpended in the grant. Three pending purchase orders include a
computer system at $4,342, a year’s Accurint
subscription at $4,800 and four (4) RACOM radios totaling $24,637. The balance of the funding will be directed
towards basic operating expenses including vehicle fuel charges, monthly cell
phone expenses and office supplies.
