AGENDA HEADING:

 

Subdivision Improvement Bond release for Easter Lake Cove Plat 1.

 

 

SYNOPSIS:

 

Release of the required surety for sidewalk and subdivision improvements in the amount of $17,006, with all required improvements related to this item being completed, as reviewed by the Engineering Department.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

 

The sidewalk surety of $70,825 from Merchant’s Bonding Company was originally approved by City Council as part of the overall approval of the final plat.  The bond was reduced to an amount of $17,006 on October 24, 2005, with a portion of the work being satisfactorily completed.  This Council Action will release the remaining $17,006 subdivision improvement bond, with all outstanding work now completed.  The subdivision plat entitled Easter Lake Cove Plat 1 is located in the vicinity of Easter Lake Drive and SE 27th Street.  The developer of the plat is The Oaks Development Company, John Kline, Principal.
