ORDINANCE NO. 13494
AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15,
1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 12,007, passed June 28, 1993, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,145, passed January
23, 1995, by repealing Section 15-175.01 thereof and enacting a new Section 15-175.01, relating to the increase
of temporary concession fee rates for use of park facilities for temporary concession purposes; be and is hereby
amended by adding the Simon Estes Amphitheater to the listing of park and recreation facilities.
Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines,
Iowa:
Section 1. That the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991,
and amended by Ordinance No. 12,007, passed June 28, 1993, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,145, passed January
23, 1995 be and is hereby amended by repealing Sections 15-175.01 thereof and enacting a new Section 15-175.01,
relating to the increase of temporary concession fee rates for use of park facilities for temporary concession
purposes; be and is hereby amended by adding the Simon Estes Amphitheater to the listing of park and recreation
facilities, as follows:
15-175.01. TEMPORARY CONCESSION FEES.
In addition to payment of all other required fees, the following fees shall be paid for use of park facilities
for temporary concession purposes:

Swimming Pools & Family

Birdland Tennis Courts
Waveland Tennis Courts
Birdland Baseball and Softball Fields
Carney Softball Fields
Savage Softball Fields

Bicycle/Jogging Trails
Riverfront Areas
All remaining Park and Recreation
facilities nine acres and greater
Category Five 9%
Improved Park and Recreation
Facilities less than nine acres.
Category Six
Unimproved Park and Recreation
Facilities less than nine acres.
