ORDINANCE NO. 13495

AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, by adding and enacting a new Section 15-181.02, all relating to vendor fees for the Simon Estes Amphitheater.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines,
Iowa:

Section 1. That the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, be and is hereby amended by adding and enacting a new Section 15-181.02 thereof, all relating to vendor fees for the Simon Estes Amphitheater, as follows:


15-181.02 AMPHITHEATER VENDOR FEES.
The following fees shall be required of all vendors selling food or beverage items on the grounds of the Simon Estes Amphitheater:
(1) Between the hours of 10:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M., Monday through Friday - $10.00 per day or $300.00 per season.
(2) At all other times during events by request of the person or entity renting the Amphitheater - $10.00 per event.
All vendors on the Amphitheater grounds must receive prior permission from the Park and Recreation Department. All such vendors are subject to the provisions of section 9-132 of this code.
Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
