ORDINANCE NO. 13,523

AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, by repealing Sections 27-2487 and 27-2962 thereof and enacting new Sections 27-2487 and 27-2962, all relating to traffic regulation changes.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines,

Iowa:

Section 1. That the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, be and is hereby amended by repealing Sections 27-2487 and 27-2962 thereof and enacting new Sections 27-2487 and 27-2962, all relating to traffic regulation changes, as follows:

27-2487. NEW YORK AVENUE--FIRST STREET TO ONTHANK DRIVE.

New York Avenue, on the south side, from First Street to a point 100 feet west thereof, no parking any time.

New York Avenue, on the north side, from First Street to Second Avenue, no parking any time.

New York Avenue, on the north side, from Second Avenue to a point 140 feet east of Fourth Street, two hour parking, 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

New York Avenue, on the north side, from a point 160 feet west of Second Avenue to a point 60 feet west thereof, loading zone.

New York Avenue, on the south side, from Second Avenue to a point 50 feet east thereof, no parking any time.

New York Avenue, on the south side, from Second Avenue to a point 50 feet west thereof, no parking any time.

New York Avenue, on the south side, from Third Street to a point 100 feet east thereof, no parking any time.

New York Avenue, on the north side, from a point 140 feet east of Fourth Street to a point 70 feet west thereof, commercial loading zone.

New York Avenue, on the north side, from a point 70 feet east of Fourth Street to Fourth Street, two hour parking 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

New York Avenue, on the north side, from Sixth Avenue to Seventh Street, no parking any time.

27-2962. WOODLAND AVENUE--TENTH STREET TO TWELFTH STREET.

Woodland Avenue, on the south side, from a point 40 feet west of Tenth Street to a point 355 feet west thereof, ten hour meters, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Woodland Avenue, on the north side, from a point 115 feet west of Tenth Street to a point 140 feet west thereof, ten hour meters, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Woodland Avenue, on the north side, from a point 475 feet west of Tenth Street to Twelfth Street, ten hour meters, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Woodland Avenue, on the south side, from a point 520 feet west of Tenth Street to a point 30 feet east of Twelfth Street, ten hour meters, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Woodland Avenue, on the north side, from Twelfth Street to a point 125 feet east thereof, ten hour meters, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
