ORDINANCE NO. 13,540
AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, as herefore amended, by repealing Sections 27-2029, 27-2169, 27-2284 and 27-2897, thereof and enacting new Sections 27-2029, 27-2169, 27-2284 and 27-2897, all relating to traffic regulation changes.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines,

Iowa:

Section 1. That the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 12,042, passed September 27, 1993, and amended by Ordinance No. 12,068, passed December 6, 1993, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,028, passed April 25, 1994, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,160, passed February 27, 1995, be and is hereby amended by repealing Sections 27-2029, 27-2169, 27-2284 and 27-2897 thereof and enacting new Sections 27-2029, 27-2169, 27-2284 and 27-2897, all relating traffic regulation changes, as follows:

27-2029. CENTER STREET--FIFTH AVENUE TO EIGHTH STREET.

Center Street, on the south side, from Fifth Avenue to Eighth Street, no parking any time.

Center Street, on the north side, from Eighth Street to a point 40 feet east thereof, no parking any time.

27-2169. FOREST AVENUE--MICHIGAN STREET TO SECOND AVENUE.

Forest Avenue, on the south side, from Michigan Street to Second Avenue, no parking any time.

Forest Avenue, on the north side, from Ohio Street to Illinois Street, no parking any time.

Forest Avenue, on the north side, from Second Avenue to a point 60 feet east thereof, no parking any time.

27-2284. HIGH STREET--FIFTEENTH STREET TO SIXTEENTH STREET.

High Street, on both sides, from Fifteenth Street to a point 100 feet west thereof, no parking any time.

High Street, on the north side, from a point 100 feet west of Fifteenth Street to a point 50 feet east of Sixteenth Street, two hour parking 9:00 A.M.. to 4:00 P.M.

High Street, on the south side, from a point 50 feet east of Sixteenth Street, to a point 30 feet east thereof, commercial loading zone, 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

High Street, on both sides, from Sixteenth Street to a point 50 feet east thereof, no parking any time.

27-2897. CENTER STREET--FIFTH AVENUE TO NINTH STREET.

Center Street, on the north side, from Fifth Avenue to a point 40 feet east of Eighth Street, ten hour meters, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Center Street, on the north side, from Eighth Street to a point 150 feet west thereof, ten hour meters, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
