AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, as heretofore amended, by repealing Sections 27-319.03 and 27-1384, thereof and enacting new Sections 27-318.03 and 27-1384, all relating to traffic regulation changes.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines,

Iowa:

Section 1. 1384 thereof and enacting new Sections 27-319.05 and 27-1384, all relating to traffic regulation changes, as follows:

27-319.03. FOUR-WAY STOP INTERSECTIONS--LOCATIONS DESIGNATED.

The following intersections are hereby designated as four-way stop intersections. Stop signs shall be installed and maintained at the following intersections and the driver of a vehicle approaching these intersections from all directions shall stop in accordance with this chapter before entering the intersections:

(1) Southeast Fifth Street and East Park Avenue.

(2) Southeast Fifth Street and East Watrous Avenue.

(3) Southeast Fifth Street and East McKinley Avenue.

(4) Southeast Sixth Street and Scott Avenue.

(5) Southeast Eighth Street and East Park Avenue.

(6) Ninth Street and Forest Avenue.

(7) Ninth Street and College Avenue.

(8) East Ninth Street and Fremont Street.

(9) East Ninth Street and Arthur Avenue.

(10) Southwest Twelfth Street and Park Avenue.

(11) Thirteenth Street and Forest Avenue.
