ORDINANCE NO. 13,545

AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,523, passed September 8, 1997, by repealing Sections 27-2235, 27-2913 and 27-2962, thereof and enacting new Sections 27-2235, 27-2913 and 27-2962, all relating to traffic regulation changes.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines,

Iowa:

Section 1. That the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,523, passed September 9, 1997, be and is hereby amended by repealing Sections 27-2235, 27-2913 and 27-2962 thereof and enacting new Sections 27-2235, 27-2913 and 27-2962, all relating to traffic regulations changes, as follows:

27-2235. EAST GRAND AVENUE--KEOSAUQUA WAY TO EAST FIRST STREET.

East Grand Avenue, on both sides, from Keosauqua Way to a point 55 feet east thereof, no parking any time.

East Grand Avenue, on the north side, from East First Street to a point 125 feet west thereof, no parking any time.

East Grand Avenue, on the south side, from East First Street to a point 87 feet west thereof, no parking any time.

East Grand Avenue, on the south side, from a point 87 feet west of East First Street to a point 50 feet west thereof, two hour parking, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

East Grand Avenue, on the south side, from a point 137 feet west of East First Street to a point 55 feet west thereof, no parking any time.

27-2913. EAST GRAND AVENUE-- DES MOINES RIVER BRIDGE TO EAST FOURTH STREET.

East Grand Avenue, on the south side, from the Des Moines River Bridge to East First Street, two hour meters, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

East Grand Avenue, on the south side, parking meters EG-001 and EG-003, two hour meters, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. are designated handicapped parking spaces and are subject to the same provisions as is found in section 27-616(a) of this code.

East Grand Avenue, on the north side, from East Fourth Street to a point 135 feet west thereof, two hour meters, 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

East Grand Avenue, on the south side, from East First Street to East Second Street, ten hour meters, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

East Grand Avenue, on the south side, from East Second Street to a point 60 feet east thereof, two hour meters, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

East Grand Avenue, on the south side, from a point 270 feet east of East Second Street to East Fourth Street, two hour meters, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

27-2962. WOODLAND AVENUE--TENTH STREET TO TWELFTH STREET.

Woodland Avenue, on the south side, from a point 40 feet west of Tenth Street to a point 355 feet west thereof, ten hour meters, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Woodland Avenue, on the north side, parking meter WD 1001, a ten hour meter, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., is designated a handicapped parking space and is subject to the same prohibitions as is found in Section 27-616(a) of this code.

Woodland Avenue, on the south side, parking meter WD 1006, a ten hour meter, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. is designated a handicapped parking space and is subject to the same prohibitions as is found in Section 27-616(a) of this code.

Woodland Avenue, on the north side, from a point 115 feet west of Tenth Street to a point 140 feet west thereof, ten hour meters, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Woodland Avenue, on the north side, from a point 475 feet west of Tenth Street to Twelfth Street, ten hour meters, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Woodland Avenue, on the south side, from a point 520 feet west of Tenth Street to a point 30 feet east of Twelfth Street, ten hour meters, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Woodland Avenue, on the north side, from Twelfth Street to a point 125 feet east thereof, ten hour meters, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
