AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,891, passed September 28, 1992, and amended by Ordinance No. 12,090, passed January 24, 1994, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,066, passed July 5, 1994, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,256, passed November 6, 1995, by repealing Sections 27-1563, 27-1581, 27-2698, 27-2768 and 27-2769, thereof and enacting new Sections 27-1563, 27-1581, 27-2698, 27-2768 and 27-2769, all relating to traffic regulation changes.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines,

Iowa:

Section 1. That the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,891, passed September 28, 1992, and amended by Ordinance No. 12,090, passed January 24, 1994, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,066, passed July 5, 1994, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,256, passed November 6, 1995, be and is hereby amended by repealing Sections 27-1563, 27-1581, 27-2698, 27-2768 and 27-2769 thereof and enacting new Sections 27-1563, 27-1581, 27-2698, 27-2768 and 27-2769, all relating to traffic regulation changes, as follows:

27-1563. SECOND AVENUE--VINE STREET TO WALNUT STREET.

Second Avenue, on the west side, from Court Avenue to a point 245 feet north thereof, no parking any time.

Second Avenue, on the west side, from Walnut Street to a point 245 feet north of Court Avenue, no stopping or standing.

27-1581. THIRD STREET--COURT AVENUE TO WALNUT STREET.

Third Street, on the east side, from Court Avenue to a point 245 feet north thereof, no parking any time.

Third Street, on the east side, from a point 335 feet north of Court Avenue to Walnut Street, no stopping or standing.

Third Street, on the west side, from a point 90 feet north of Court Avenue to a point 60 feet north thereof, commercial loading zone.

Third Street, on the west side, from a point 265 feet north of Court Avenue to a point 25 feet north thereof, no parking any time.

Third Street, on the west side, from a point 375 feet north of Court Avenue to Walnut Street, loading zone.

27-2698. WALNUT STREET--SECOND AVENUE TO THIRD STREET.

Walnut Street, on the north side, from Second Avenue to Third Street, no parking any time.

Walnut Street, on the south side, from Second Avenue to Third Street, no stopping or standing.

27-2768. SECOND AVENUE--COURT AVENUE TO WALNUT STREET.

Second Avenue, on the east side, from Court Avenue to Walnut Street, two hour meters, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

27-2769. THIRD STREET--COURT AVENUE TO WALNUT STREET.

Third Street, on the east side, from a point 245 feet north of Court Avenue to a point 90 feet north thereof, two hour meters, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Third Street, on the east side, from a point 335 feet north of Court Avenue to Walnut Street, two hour meters, 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and

effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
