AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991,	adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,935, passed March 15, 1993, and amended by Ordinance No. 12,042, passed September 27, 1993, by repealing Sections 27-1295 and 27-2151 thereof and enacting new Sections 27-1295 and 27-2151 and adding and enacting a new Section 27-1858.01, relating to traffic regulation changes.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines,

Iowa:

Section 1. That the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,935, passed March 15, 1993, and amended by Ordinance No. 12,042, passed September 27, 1993, by repealing Sections 27-1295 and 27-2151 thereof and enacting new Sections 27-1295 and 27-2151 and adding and enacting a new Section 27-1858.01, relating to traffic regulation changes, as follows:

27-1295. CENTER STREET.

Center Street, from the west line of Second Avenue to the east line of Ninth Street - Stop.

The driver of a vehicle southbound on Twelfth Street using the connecting roadway to turn right at Center Street shall yield the right-of-way to westbound traffic on Center Street - Yield.

Center Street, from the east line of Twelfth Street to the east line of Fifteenth Street - Stop.

Center Street, from the west line of Fifteenth Street to the east line of Nineteenth Street - Stop.

Center Street, from the east line of Nineteenth Street to the east line of Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, with the following restrictions: 1) Westbound traffic on Center Street shall stop at Nineteenth Street - Stop; 2) The driver of a vehicle southbound on Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway using the connecting roadway to turn left at Center Street shall stop for eastbound traffic on Center Street - Stop.

Center Street, from the west line of Twenty-fourth Street to the east line of Thirty-fifth Street - Stop.

27-1858.01. SOUTHWEST THIRTY-FOURTH STREEET - PARK AVENUE TO MCKINLEY AVENUE.

Southwest Thirty-fourth Streeet, on both sides, from Watrous Avenue to McKinley Avenue, no parking any time.

27-2151. ENOS AVENUE--EIGHTH STREET TO FIFTEENTH STREET.

Enos Avenue, on the north side, from Eighth Street to Ninth Street, no parking any time.

Enos Avenue, on the north side, from Twelfth Street to Fourteenth Street, no parking any time.

Enos Avenue, on the south side, from Fourteenth Street

to Fifteenth Street, no parking any time.

Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
