AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,667, passed June 3, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,742, passed November 4, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,802, passed April 20, 1992, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,875, passed August 24, 1992, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,892, passed September 28, 1992, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,951, passed March 15, 1993, and amended by Ordinance No. 12,034, passed August 23, 1993, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,029, passed May 2, 1994, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,160, passed February 27, 1995, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,169, passed April 3, 1995, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,193, passed May 22, 1995, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,218, passed August 7, 1995, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,360, passed July 22, 1996, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,575, passed February 16, 1998, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,593, passed April 6, 1998, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,658, passed November 2, 1998, by repealing Sections 27-839, 27-1102, 27-1443, 27-1562, 27-1799, 27-2007.05, 27-2312 and 27-2745 thereof and enacting new Sections 27-839, 27-1102, 27-1443, 27-1562, 27-1799, 27-2007.05, 27-2312 and 27-2745, relating to traffic regulation changes.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa:

	Section 1. That the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,667, passed June 3, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,742, passed November 4, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,802, passed April 20, 1992, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,875, passed August 24, 1992, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,892, passed September 28, 1992, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,951, passed March 15, 1993, and amended by Ordinance No. 12,034, passed August 23, 1993, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,029, passed May 2, 1994, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,160, passed February 27, 1995, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,169, passed April 3, 1995, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,193, passed May 22, 1995, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,218, passed August 7, 1995, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,360, passed July 22, 1996, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,575, passed February 16, 1998, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,593, passed April 6, 1998, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,658, passed November 2, 1998, is hereby amended by repealing Sections 27-839, 27-1102, 27-1443, 27-1562, 27-1799, 27-2007.05, 27-2312 and 27-2745 thereof and enacting new Sections 27-839, 27-1102, 27-1443, 27-1562, 27-1799, 27-2007.05, 27-2312 and 27-2745, relating to traffic regulation changes, as follows:

27-839. WILLIAMS STREET.

Williams Street, from East University Avenue to Easton Boulevard, 35 miles per hour.

Williams Street, from East University Avenue to Dean Avenue, 30 miles per hour.

Indianola Avenue, on the south side, from South Union Street to a point 100 feet east of Southwest First Street, no parking 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.

Indianola Avenue, on the north side, from a point 100 feet east of Southwest First Street to South Union Street, is designated a handicapped parking space and is subject to the same prohibition as is found in section 27-616(a) of this code.

Indianola Avenue, on the north side, from a point 100 feet east of Southwest First Street to a point 180 feet east of Southwest First Street, is designated a handicapped parking space and is subject to the same prohibition as is found in section 27-616(a) of this code.

Indianola Avenue, on the north side, from a point 180 feet east of Southwest First Street to South Union Street, is designated a handicapped parking space on Saturday and Sunday and is subject to the same prohibition as is found in section 27-616(a) of this code.
