ORDINANCE NO. 13,697

AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,891, passed September 28, 1992, and amended by Ordinance 13,678, passed January 25, 1999 by repealing Section 27-1617 thereof and enacting a new Section 27-1617, relating to traffic regulation changes.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa:

Section 1. That the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,891, passed September 28, 1992, and amended by Ordinance 13,678, passed January 25, 1999 ia hereby amended by repealing Section 27-1617 thereof and enacting a new Section 27-1617, relating to traffic regulation changes, as follows:

27-1617. SIXTH AVENUE--WALNUT STREET TO LOCUST STREET.

Sixth Avenue, on the east side, from Walnut Street to Locust Street, no parking 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.

Sixth Avenue, on the west side, from Walnut Street to a point 180 feet north thereof, no parking any time.

Sixth Avenue, on the west side, from a point 180 feet north of Walnut Street to Locust Street, no parking 7:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M.

Sixth Avenue, on the west side, from a point 180 feet north of Walnut Street to Locust Street, no parking 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Sixth Avenue, on the west side, from a point 180 feet north of Walnut Street to a point 40 feet north thereof, commercial loading zone.

Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
