ORDINANCE NO. 13,743
AN ORDINANCE to amend the Official Zoning Map of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, set forth in Section 2A-5 of the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, 1991, by rezoning and changing the district classification of certain property located on the east side of S.W. 30th Street and north of Willowmere Drive, from the "R1-80" One Family Residential District and "M-3" Limited Industrial District classifications to a "PUD" Planned Unit Development District classification.
Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa:
Section 1. That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, set forth in Section 2A-5 of the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 1991, be and the same is hereby amended by rezoning and changing the district classification of certain property located on the east side of S.W. 30th Street and north of Willowmere Drive, more fully described as follows:
2911 SW 30th Street
Beginning 638.05 feet South of the Northeast corner of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 18, Township 78 North, Range 24 West of the 5th P.M.; thence southwesterly 862.7 feet; thence South 453.5 feet; thence East 222.75 feet; thence North 433.27 feet; thence northeasterly 638.35 feet along the South line of vacated railroad right-of-way; thence North 78.4 feet to the point of beginning; all now included in and forming a part of the City of Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa and containing 3.45 acres more or less.
and 2929 SW 30th Street
Beginning 992.12 feet North of the Southeast corner of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 18, Township 78 North, Range 24 West of the 5th P.M.; thence West 368.1 feet; thence North 376.13 feet; thence West 251.25 feet; thence North to the South line of vacated railroad right-of-way; thence northwesterly 638.35 feet; thence South 934.89 feet to the point of beginning, all now included in and forming a part of the City of Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa and containing 10.00 acres more or less.
from the "R1-80" One Family Residential District and "M-3" Limited Industrial District classifications to a "PUD" Planned Unit Development District classification.
Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the later of its passage and publication as provided by law.
Sec. 3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause certified copies of this ordinance and proof of publication thereof to be properly filed in the office of the Recorder of Polk County, Iowa.
