ORDINANCE NO. 13,751

AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, and and amended by Ordinance No. 13,239, passed September 5, 1995, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,567, passed January 19, 1998, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,705, passed May 3 1999 by repealing Sections 27-1906, 27-2558, and 27-2824 thereof and enacting new Sections 27-1906, 27-2558, and 27-2824, relating to traffic regulation changes.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa:

Section 1. That the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,239, passed September 5, 1995, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,567, passed January 19, 1998, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,705, passed May 3 1999 is hereby amended by repealing Sections 27-1906, 27-2558, and 27-2824 thereof and enacting new Sections 27-1906, 27-2558, and 27-2824, relating to traffic regulation changes, as follows:

27-1906. FORTY-SEVENTH STREET--UNIVERSITY AVENUE TO AURORA AVENUE.

Forty-seventh Street, on the east side, from University Avenue to a point 140 feet north thereof, no parking any time.

Forty-seventh Street, on the west side, from University Avenue to Douglas Avenue, no parking any time.

Forty-seventh Street, on the east side, from Hickman Road to a point 80 feet north thereof, no parking any time.

Forty-seventh Street, on the east side, from Madison Avenue to Aurora Avenue, no parking 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., school days.

Forty-seventh Street, on the west side, from Madison Avenue to Aurora Avenue, no parking any time.

Forty-seventh Street, on the east side, from Douglas Avenue to a point 75 feet south thereof, no parking any time.

27-2558. RANDALL PLACE--FOREST AVENUE TO CUL-DE-SAC, SOUTH. Randall Place, on the east side, from Forest Avenue to a point 50 feet south thereof, no parking any time.

Randall Place, on the west side, from Forest Avenue to a point 300 feet south thereof and on any part of the cul-de-sac, no parking any time.

27-2824. GRAND AVENUE--SIXTH AVENUE TO SEVENTH STREET.

Grand Avenue, on the south side, parking meter G-602, two hour meter, 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., is designated a handicapped parking space and is subject to the same prohibition as is found in section 27-616(a) of this code.

Grand Avenue, on the south side, from Sixth Avenue to a point 70 feet west thereof, two hour meters, 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Grand Avenue, on the north side, from Sixth Avenue to a point 50 feet west thereof, commercial loading zone.

Grand Avenue, on the north side, from a point 50 feet west of Sixth Avenue to a point 135 feet west thereof, two hour meters, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
