AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,043, passed May 23, 1994, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,441, passed March 17, 1997, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,567, passed January 19, 1998, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,707, passed May 3, 1999, by repealing Sections 27-1685, 27-1976, 27-2239 and 27-2951 thereof and enacting new Sections 27-1685, 27-1976, 27-2239 and 27-2951, relating to traffic regulation changes.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa:

Section 1. That the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,043, passed May 23, 1994, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,441, passed March 17, 1997, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,567, passed January 19, 1998, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,707, passed May 3, 1999, is hereby amended by repealing Sections 27-1685, 27-1976, 27-2239 and 27-2951 thereof and enacting new Sections 27-1685, 27-1976, 27-2239 and 27-2951, relating to traffic regulation changes, as follows:

27-1685. EAST TENTH STREET--DES MOINES STREET TO EAST AURORA AVENUE.

East Tenth Street, on the east side, from Des Moines Street to Lyon Street, no parking any time.

East Tenth Street, on the west side, from Lyon Street to a point 100 feet south thereof, no parking any time.

East Tenth Street, on the west side, from East Seneca Avenue to East Aurora Avenue, no parking any time.

East Tenth Street, on the east side, from East Seneca Avenue to a point 50 feet north thereof, no parking any time

27-1976. BEAVER AVENUE--FRANKLIN AVENUE TO URBANDALE AVENUE.

Beaver Avenue, on both sides, from Franklin Avenue to Holcomb Avenue, no parking any time.

Beaver Avenue, on the east side, from Holcomb Avenue to Sheridan Avenue, two hour parking, 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Beaver Avenue, on the east side, from Sheridan Avenue to a point 75 feet north thereof, no parking any time.

Beaver Avenue, on the east side, from a point 75 feet north of Sheridan Avenue to a point 95 feet south of Urbandale Avenue, two hour parking, 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Beaver Avenue, on the east side, from Urbandale Avenue to a point 95 feet south thereof, no parking any time.

Beaver Avenue, on the west side, from Urbandale Avenue to a point 70 feet south thereof, no parking any time.

Beaver Avenue, on the west side, from Holcomb Avenue to a point 50 feet south of Beavercrest Drive, two hour parking 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Beaver Avenue, on the west side, from a point 50 feet south of Beavercrest Drive to a point 50 feet north of Beavercrest Drive, no parking any time.

Beaver Avenue, on the west side, from a point 50 feet north of Beavercrest Drive to a point 95 feet south of Urbandale Avenue, two hour parking 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

27-2239. EAST GRAND AVENUE--EAST SIXTH STREET TO PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE.

East Grand Avenue, on the south side, from East Sixth Street to a point 320 feet east thereof, no parking any time.

East Grand Avenue, on the south side, from a point 320 feet east of East Sixth Street to a point 115 feet east thereof, passenger loading and unloading.

East Grand Avenue, on the south side, from a point 435 feet east of East Sixth Street to Pennsylvania Avenue, no parking any time.

East Grand Avenue, on the north side, from East Sixth Street to Pennsylvania Avenue, no parking 7:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M.

East Grand Avenue, on the north side, from a point 190 feet west of Pennsylvania Avenue to a point 25 feet west thereof, commercial loading zone.

East Grand Avenue, on the north side, from a point 60 feet east of East Sixth Street to a point 30 feet east thereof, no parking any time.

East Grand Avenue, on the north side, from a point 90 feet east of East Sixth Street to a point 20 feet east thereof, no parking any time.

27-2951. EAST GRAND AVENUE--EAST SIXTH STREET TO PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE.

East Grand Avenue, on the north side, from East Sixth Street to a point 60 feet east thereof , four hour meters, 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

East Grand Avenue, on the north side, from a point 110 feet east of East Sixth Street to a point 250 feet east thereof, four hour meters, 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

East Grand Avenue, on the north side, from Pennsylvania Avenue to a point 190 feet west thereof, four hour meters, 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

East Grand Avenue, on the south side, parking meter EG-600 is designated a ten hour meter, 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., and is designated a handicapped parking space and is subject to the same prohibitions as is found in section 27-616(a) of this code.

Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
