AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,663, passed May 20, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,722, passed September 23, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,047, passed June 6, 1994, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,122, passed December 5, 1994, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,241, passed September 5, 1995, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,301, passed February 5, 1996, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,750, passed September 13, 1999, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,762, passed October 18, 1999, by repealing Sections 27-743, 27-960, 27-1249, 27-1407, 27-1623, 27-2013, 27-2253, 27-2254, 27-2319 thereof and enacting new Sections 27-743, 27-960, 27-1249, 27-1407, 27-1623, 27-2013, 27-2253, 27-2254, 27-2319, and adding and enacting Section 27-959A, relating to traffic regulation changes.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa:

Section 1. That the Municipal Code of Des Moines, 1991, adopted by Ordinance No. 11,651, passed April 15, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,663, passed May 20, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 11,722, passed September 23, 1991, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,047, passed June 6, 1994, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,122, passed December 5, 1994, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,241, passed September 5, 1995, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,301, passed February 5, 1996, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,750, passed September 13, 1999, and amended by Ordinance No. 13,762, passed October 18, 1999, is hereby amended by repealing Sections 27-743, 27-960, 27-1249, 27-1407, 27-1623, 27-2013, 27-2253, 27-2254, 27-2319 thereof and enacting new Sections 27-743, 27-960, 27-1249, 27-1407, 27-1623, 27-2013, 27-2253, 27-2254, 27-2319, and adding and enacting Section 27-959A, relating to traffic regulation changes, as follows:

27-743. EAST THIRTY-THIRD STREET.

East Thirty-third Street, from East University Avenue to a point 250 feet south of Easton Street, 30 miles per hour.

East Thirty-third Street, from a point 250 feet south of Easton Boulevard to Euclid, 35 miles per hour.

27-959A. ELEVENTH STREET.

Eleventh Street, from Euclid Avenue to Madison Avenue.

27-960. TWELFTH STREET.

Twelfth Street, from Madison Avenue to North City Limits.

27-1249. EAST THIRTY-THIRD STREET.

East Thirty-third Street, from the north line of East University Avenue to the south line of East Euclid Avenue - Stop.

27-1407. RITTENHOUSE STREET.

Rittenhouse Street, at Southwest Tenth Street - Stop.

Rittenhouse Street, at Southwest Eleventh Street - Stop. Rittenhouse Street, at Southwest Twenty-second Street - Stop.

27-1623. SIXTH AVENUE--UNIVERSITY AVENUE TO FOREST AVENUE.

Sixth Avenue, on both sides, from University Avenue to a point 150 feet north thereof, no parking any time.

Capitol Avenue, on the north side, from a point 50 feet east of East Fourteenth Street to a point 50 feet west of East Fifteenth Street, two hour parking, 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
