ORDINANCE NO. 13,860
AN ORDINANCE to amend the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, adopted by Ordinance No. 13,827, passed June 5, 2000, by repealing paragraph (f) of Section 82-247 and paragraph (d) of Section 82-248 thereof and enacting a new paragraph (f) of Section 82-247 and paragraph (d) of Section 82-248, regarding the membership of the Neighborhood Revitalization Board.
WHEREAS, the Des Moines Development Corporation has merged with and is now the Greater Des Moines Partnership; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the City Code to reflect this change in the corporate name;
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa:
Section 1. That the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, 2000, adopted by Ordinance No. 13,827, passed June 5, 2000, is hereby amended by repealing paragraph (f) of Section 82-247 and paragraph (d) of Section 82-248 thereof and enacting a new paragraph (f) of Section 82-247 and paragraph (d) of Section 82-248, regarding the membership of the Neighborhood Revitalization Board, as follows:
Sec. 82-247. Qualifications and nominations.

(f) The Greater Des Moines Partnership shall nominate one member to the board who is a member of the Greater Des Moines Partnership Board.
Sec. 82-248. Terms of office.

(d) The appointments of the representatives of the Neighborhood Finance Corporation and the Greater Des Moines Partnership shall be for one-year terms expiring June 30 of each year.
Sec. 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
